Tara Sasseville, Co-Teacher/PreK Lead

My name is Tara Sasseville, and I am a teacher at heart.  I am thrilled to be a part of The Willow School community!

I am a Pepperdine University graduate and hold a Master’s Degree in Education. My experience is wide-ranging, including ten years teaching first through fifth grades in the Cherry Creek Schools of Colorado and many years devoted to raising my four kids. Additionally, I have fulfilled long-term positions at Mabel I. Wilson as a Special Education ed-tech and a kindergarten teacher. Most recently, I combined my passion for teaching with my passion for inclusion as a Program Leader for the Cromwell Center for Disabilities Awareness.

I love fresh air and sunshine. I love people, especially the small ones and the underdogs. I love to laugh. I love to learn.  And I believe we can change the world, one smile at a time.

The preschool years are filled with wonder and growth, and the small moments are precious.  The look on a child’s face as they learn a new skill, accomplish a task, or make a discovery fuels me as a teacher.  I cannot wait to share these moments with the kids at The Willow School!
